New Xbox One Experience and Backward Compatibility Coming Next Month

Yesterday during the launch of Halo 5: Guardians, Xbox’s own Larry Hryb finally announced the release date that Xbox One owners have been waiting for since E3.

The updated Xbox One interface, called the New Xbox One Experience, is launching alongside Xbox 360 backward compatibility in just over two weeks – November 12, 2015.

If you’re part of the Xbox Preview Program, you can already try the NXOE, though it’s still very buggy at time of posting. It has limited backward compatibility as well, giving players a few of the Xbox 360 titles to try out.

As for the retail version, we can all look forward to downloading it just in time for the release of Star Wars Battlefront.
